Trump's White House staff, who have spent much of the last four years walking on eggshells to appease the president, are now planning to depart as President Trump fails to accept the results of the 2020 election.

Trump, who fell to now Presidential-elect Joe Biden on November 3 in what he once considered an electoral college landslide, purports to believe the opera woman hasn't sung the last song of his presidency.

President Trump has spent the last month touting conspiracy theories to his millions of social media followers, falsely suggesting that someone rigged the democratic election process against him, but only in the states he was not named the victor.

Meanwhile, his staff realizes their careers are no longer tied to Trump, as his fading presidential power turns to tarnish over an already complicated legacy.

CNN reports that the Head of the White House Office of Presidential Personnel, John McEntee, threatened to fire staffers considering new job offers as they hustle to find new employment.

McEntee's actions seem to be an attempt to insulate Trump from the reality to come next month when President-elect Joe Biden is sworn in as the 46th President of the United States.

With many aides reportedly defying McEntee, this marks the first sign of fading power amongst Trump allies. A sign the president is in no hurry to acknowledge.
